Lucien Schmit III
(California State Bar No. 115151) is a 1984 graduate of the University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall. Mr. Schmit has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of California Berkeley, as well as a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has practiced civil litigation before California state and federal trial and appellate courts since 1984. He is also licensed to practice law in the State of Washington. Mr. Schmit has deep understanding about and comprehensive experience in employment litigation and investigations, including employment discrimination (race/sex/age/ disability) matters, in addition to expertise in general employment law, wrongful discharge and employee benefit litigation, traditional labor law (management side), and general business litigation including the areas of: real estate, construction, construction defect litigation, commercial insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, and the representation of franchisers and financial institutions. Mr. Schmit is also admitted before the Court of International Trade and is a member of the American and Los Angeles County Bar Associations.
