George G. Romain
(California State Bar No. 141743) is a trusted attorney with over 25 years of courtroom experience and a thorough understanding of state and federal law. He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1987. His primary practice areas are business law, discrimination, employment law, insurance law, personal injury law and professional malpractice.
Before joining Albright, Yee & Schmit, Mr. Romain served as an Associate and Senior Attorney for some of the most preeminent attorneys and law firms in Los Angeles. Mr. Romain has experience handling complex business and tort liability cases, and has represented small to medium-sized companies in contract, insurance coverage, and other business matters. He is exceptionally versed in representing employers in defense of wrongful termination and discrimination cases.
Mr. Romain has lectured on how to avoid errors and omissions claims, and California’s Fair Claims Settlement Practices regulations. He is the author of “Distress Signals,” an article published in Los Angeles Lawyer magazine that explores strategies for litigating claims of severe emotional distress. Additional published works and speaking engagements include: “Claims Adjusters Take Heed: Daubert Wants You” John Cooke Fraud Reporter; and “Protecting Yourself – Avoiding Errors and Omissions in the 90’s” presented to the Southwest Los Angeles Escrow Association.
